On Day 4 we ideated upon the experiments we did the days before, sketching ideas of how we could create an experience from the stuff we looked at. All these ideas are based on the balance board for an input.
The two audio effects we tried to integrate are the phasing effect and otoaccoustic emissions.
We first started by only using one stereo pair of speakers to test the effect, also using material we found while researching, for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aXN7GiLpB4.
During these tests we realized that to create an interesting effect, just adhering to the “science” wasn’t going to be enough. Experimenting in the room until we were happy with the result seemed to be the way to go.
